"Pop Icon Madonna's World Tour Cancelled Due to Serious Infection"

After being taken to a hospital's intensive care unit (ICU), Madonna was forced to abandon her world tour due to a major infection caused by a hazardous bacterium.

Madonna's experimental, theater-based Madame X concerts from 2019 and 2020 were anticipated to be included in the celebration tour, dubbed "Dub," and to make a return to arenas and stadiums.

Due to the star's hip and horse injuries, some of the performances had to be canceled.
